Huge thanks to Octane Rent and Eric for the fast, excellent service! I rented the Challenger SRT Pack, and the car left only positive impressions—it was incredibly dynamic and perfectly maintained. I will definitely rent from them again on my next trip to Dubai.

FAQ
How much does it cost to rent an MG 3 in Sharjah?
MG 3 short-term rental in Sharjah starts at 95 AED/day. Weekly rental prices can drop to 85 AED/day. The monthly price starts from 60 AED per day. Keep in mind that the final rate depends on the model, mileage, and season. Weekly rentals come with a discount of up to 11%, while monthly rentals offer a discount of nearly 40%
Is the MG 3 automatic or manual in the UAE?
In the UAE, the MG 3 is mainly available with an automatic transmission. Driving in heavy UAE traffic is easier with an automatic, especially with long highways and many parking spots. A manual transmission requires manually operating the clutch, which can be tiring on a hot 45-degree day. An automatic handles this, letting the driver relax and enjoy the ride without stress.
Is the MG 3 reliable in the UAE?
On ZigWheels, users also say the MG3 offers the best value for its price. It has the most features in its class, like 360-degree cameras and Apple CarPlay. Users on Reddit agree that the 6-year warranty will remove all of your worries about reliability. As long as you maintain a modern air conditioning system, they are usually reliable. But Octane.Rent company covers all repair and maintenance costs, and you get a car with predictable expenses.
What are common problems with the MG 3?
Owners on Zigwheels and Reddit in the UAE say there may be software glitches with the multimedia system, and that the air conditioning may run slowly during the hottest part of the day. When renting a car, you’re not responsible for inspections or maintenance, especially long-term. The company covers all costs, with vehicles inspected every 5,000 km. If the breakdown is not caused by the driver or passenger's fault, a free replacement will be provided within hours.
What is the fuel consumption of the MG 3?
In the city, fuel consumption is approximately 7.2-7.5 liters per 100 km. On the highway, it’s lower, at around 5.8-6.1 liters per 100 km. If you turn on the air conditioning in hot weather, fuel consumption increases by 10-15% (approximately 8.2-8.5 liters). The MG3’s fuel tank capacity is approximately 45 liters. A single tank of fuel is usually enough for 650-700 km of driving in mixed conditions.
How much does it cost to rent a MG 3 monthly in Sharjah?
Monthly MG 3 hire in Sharjah with Octane Rent is priced from AED 1090 — worked out from a AED 43/day rate plus a 30–40% long-rental discount. Daily rate range: AED 43–170. Your car comes to you. Delivery to any location in the UAE — airport, hotel, or wherever you need it. Octane Rent operates without a security deposit.
Where can I pick up an MG 3 in Sharjah?
Octane Rent delivers an MG 3 anywhere in Sharjah, from Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) to your hotel or residence, so you can skip the office entirely. In-branch pickup stays an option too, and every rental is deposit-free.
